LoriAnn and Jordan’s Christmas Light Filled Engagement Session

When we first met LoriAnn and Jordan, it was pretty clear that Jordan LOVES Christmas. So when they came to us and asked if we knew of a location where we could get Christmas lights in their Engagement photos, we weren’t surprised. West Hartford center was one of the first places that came to mind. West Hartford always has a beautiful display of trees, twinkling lights wrapping the quaint light posts, and there’s usually some festive music playing outside as well.

Our Epic Engagements are three hours long, which lets us get natural sunlight and epic photos once the sun goes down. This was perfect for LoriAnn and Jordan, who were looking for some unique photography with Christmas lights. In the winter, three hours outside in CT are a little bit daunting! So for the middle portion of the session we headed indoors to Vinted, a wine bar in Blue Back Square. When first chatting with LoriAnn, she told me some of her favorite date nights are the ones spent inside with Jordan, cozied up with a movie and popcorn. We didn’t bring popcorn into Vinted, but LoriAnn and Jordan got cozy up with some delicious wine, and we enjoyed an hour inside warming up among the Christmas decorations.

After stopping by Vinted, we headed back outside for some fun Christmas light photos. Of course we had to break out the “twinkle lights” as Chris makes fun of me for calling them, which were perfect in front of the Christmas tree.
