Destination Wedding in Cancun
Beach Palace Wedding in Cancun
Winter is ending, and it’s truly starting to feel like Spring. As soon as daylight savings arrives and the sun sets later, my soul is so happy. I find myself smiling more, spending more time outside, and just enjoying life!
There’s no better way to celebrate how happy I’ve been feeling than by posting our FIRST blog post of 2019. Now that it’s close to a year since we photographed Tran and Joe’s destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico, we’re finally sharing more from their amazing day. We’ll just pretend we’re not almost a full quarter into 2019.
We couldn’t have asked for more incredible blue skies the day of Tran and Joe’s wedding. There were just enough clouds in the sky that we knew we would be in for a spectacular sunset at the end of the day!
Gift bags are an awesome way to welcome your guests to a destination wedding, and the bags Tran and Joe prepared for their wedding guests didn’t disappoint! They included shot glasses, hangover cures, confetti, and adorable Cancun shoulder bags to keep all of the goodies in.
Tran and Joe were married at The Beach Palace in Cancun, which has a spectacular rooftop overlooking the beach and surrounding hotels. It was the perfect place for their ceremony and reception (and was right by the hotel’s two rooftop bars and pools, which is definitely a win.)
A rooftop is the perfect place for a killer destination reception! You can enjoy spectacular views and still have a private space away from the crowded beaches. Their neutral flowers were the perfect backdrop to the colorful tableware and hand painted maracas left for each guest at their seat.
And as predicted, we had an absolutely spectacular sunset! You can’t ask for a better backdrop for photos.
Congratulations Tran and Joe! We had so much fun partying with you and your amazing friends in Cancun.
We also need to take a minute to spotlight these GORGEOUS albums! Tran and Joe had such a fun filled weekend, it needed a double volume set of albums to celebrate. Their wedding albums are shown here along with some of the coolest favors ever – hand painted maracas straight from Cancun!
