Harkness Park Engagement Session
Rekha & Shawn's engagement session at Harkness State Park...

Rekha and Shawn had their engagement session at Harkness State Park last June. Looking back at this beautiful engagement session has us ready for a walk in a beautiful park, or by the shore!

Harkness Park is beautiful year round, and is no different in June. This little garden has always reminded me of The Secret Garden. Blooming flowers, green hedges, and lattices with climbing vines makes the entire setting so whimsical. The way the manor house peeks through in the background sets the scene so beautifully and adds an elegant touch!

The white and yellow daffodils were in full bloom, and were beautiful contrasted with the lush green background.

One of the reasons we so often choose Harkness for Engagement Sessions is for the amazing variety it has, all in one location. Deep greens, stone, and flowers are some of our favorite settings for photos, but it’s even better when you can get the variety of having the beach as an option too!

Once the sun dropped closer to the horizon and sunset began, we walked down the boardwalk to get to the beach. Rekha’s soft pink dress and Shawn’s blue button down were perfect accents for one another, and we just love how they look on the beach against the pink and yellow of the sunset.

Rekha kicked off her shoes, and we spent sunset on the beach by the water. Watching the end of sunset together is such a perfect and romantic way to end a session.

Congratulations on your engagement, Rekha and Shawn! We’re so excited to celebrate your marriage next year!
