These winter engagement photos were way too perfect for this holiday week not to share! We’re still in the holiday spirit here, and so sad to see our favorite holiday pass by (is anyone else still listening to Christmas music?) When we woke up on Christmas morning to snow falling outside our windows, we were beyond excited. There’s something so magical about clean white snow in the winter. These photographs from Andrea and Larry’s Epic Engagement were similar! The day before their session was scheduled we woke up to snow falling all day, and we love how it looks in the background of their photos.
Christmas is a wonderful time for engagement photos, with the sparkling lights and holiday decor as a festive backdrop. Chris and I were looking forward to this session in our quaint little home town, which is always decorated to the nines for the holidays. Blue Back Square never disappoints, with a giant silver and blue Christmas tree and lights wrapping the light poles. Andrea’s gray wrap coat was so gorgeous, and a beautiful way to stay warm during photos while still looking amazing!
As you all may remember from our most recent blog post with NYC engagement photos, Epic Engagements give us the flexibility for unique locations and lighting. For Andrea and Larry’s session, this meant wine at Vinted, a popular wine bar in Blue Back Square. Andrea and Larry celebrated their engagement with some prosecco, and spent some time getting warm before we went back out in the cold! As it got darker, even more lights lit up West Hartford, and combined with the snow still on the ground and trees it was perfect for a December engagement session.
Congratulations on your engagement Andrea and Larry! We’re looking forward to your wedding in the new year!
